Jag vet inte hur många gånger jag stått och tryckt in alla – till synes – miljarder sladdar man behöver för ström, nätverk, hörlurar och skärm och undrat varför det inte finns dockor för MacBooks, precis som alla andra laptops (jag använder aldrig min MacBook som extraskärm, kör bara på extern). Henge Docks har löst problemet och erbjuder nu dockor för alla moderna MacBook- och MacBook Pro-modeller (från 13″ till 17″). Priset börjar på $60 bucks.

I just thought of how Microsoft has managed to generate good buzz lately, releasing Windows 7 RC 1 free for everyone (for a year) and so on, but then someone at marketing just had to release something like the video above.

The ad features Wes, a “certified financial planner”, telling you how stupid the huge storage capacity on iPods is when it’ll cost you a whopping $30,000 to fill it with music bought from iTunes. So what’s the smarter alternative, oh unbiased financial planner? Well, it’s a Microsoft Zune with the $14.99/mo Zune Pass. $15 is way cheaper than $30,000. Even for Steve Ballmer.

Just mention “powerpoint” and I feel my eyelids grow heavier. Good thing there’s people out there trying to evolve the world of presentations; Afterglow is a pretty cool take on the laser pointers some people use to point out particularly interesting parts of their presentations. The system uses a USB-connected camera to allow you to interact with the presentation, just sit there and use the laser dot as a drawing tool, point out errors, emphasize important stuff, control the mouse pointer or just.. well, draw moustaches on the clipart people.

It’s awesomely smart too so you can put the camera pretty much anywhere and it still figures out where to draw your doodles.

Here’s a video of the rumored Spotify iPhone app, and I really like the look of it. Over-the-air streaming of Spotify’s entire library along with the possibility to cache playlists when you’re in wi-fi areas so you can listen later. According to Tech Digest it’ll be for Premium users only though.

I’ve got a hard time imagining that Apple will let this app hit iTunes store though, considering that they never allow apps that compete with their own software, but apparently there’s a Symbian (and most probably Android) version coming as well so let’s just wait and see.

Unfortunately you need to jailbreak your iPhone to use it – something Apple officially doesn’t like at all.
