IE8 Now Delivered For Real
Up until today Internet Explorer 8 has been a completely voluntary upgrade for Windows users, but as of now Microsoft tagged the upgrade as Important in Vista and High Priority in XP. That means it’ll pop up automatically for everyone, including upgrade-reluctant users like your mom & dad and all those other people gifted with either a complete lack of interest in web browser security (gasp) and/or new features.
So, expect the IE8 market share to grow considerably in the near future, and let’s welcome all those IE6 users who take their first staggering steps in a modern web browsing environment.
